Pursue Wealth Director & Financial Adviser, Sam Robinson, was the recent recipient of the FAAA Distinguished Service Award. Sam’s strong leadership and long-standing contributions to the advice profession were some of the reasons behind why she received the award.
She served nearly seven years on the Association of Financial Advisers’ (AFA) Board and numerous committees, including the Project Ocean Steering Committee during the merger of the FPA and AFA (now FAAA). From being the Victorian State Director to the Treasurer of the AFA, Sam delivered exceptional outcomes for the advice community, including advocating for practitioners and accessibility of financial advice for Australians.
This award recognises her outstanding service to both the FAAA and AFA. During Sam’s tenure on the Board, she was able to bring the voice of a young, female adviser to high-level discussions around the future of financial advice and how to strengthen the advice profession.
